Food for the Journey

Who?  Who am I?  Who is this for?     I am not important.  This is primarily for the people I love but ultimately this will be for anyone that might need it in this journey we call life. What?   What will this be about? This will be a place where I can write down things I have learned or picked up along the way.  It is where I will put things I want to share, things I want to find again in the future, things that I hope others will also find useful. Why?   Why have I chosen to call it Food for the Journey? We have but one life to live and we should all want to go to Heaven.  We need nourishment for our body, our mind and our spirit.  Food for the Journey is a song that was written about Archbishop Oscar Romero, now Saint, of El Salvador.  Fr. Romero was murdered whilst saying mass on 24 March 1980.  He had based his last homily on John 6.  The song was composed by Rufina Zaragoza to immortalise his last words. “I am t...
